New vacancy - Payroll
A new role has just come into fruition at our Business Help UK Romford branch. We are recruiting a Payroll Admin Assistant in a multi-lingual company to cover Maternity Leave with the option of a permanent position in a different role/department within the accountancy firm, once payroll maternity cover has ended. You will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for multiple companies. These payrolls will be very varied in size and type, and could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. You will be required to run the payrolls from beginning to end, and make the necessary statutory deductions and the submissions to HMRC. You will need to register companies for PAYE and adhere to all RTI rules and regulations, including processing new starters and leaver's, staff employment changes, sick pay, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave and pay, etc.
You will also be jointly responsible for the payroll inbox, where you will be assisting the Team with email and telephone queries as well as some general administrative work.
The role also includes dealing with Employment Payment Summaries and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs to reclaim overpaid CIS taxes.
Another part of Payroll will be dealing with Pensions, this entails setting up Pensions alongside NOW Pensions and running monthly reports and submissions.
The hours are part-time, between 20 and 25 hours per week, and can work around school hours for the right candidate. The candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, able to work as part of a team as well as being able to use their initiative. Basic computer skills are essential and experience in payroll will be advantageous however on the job training will be given. Full time position is also available.
