Who is the course for? This level 2 course is ideal for head chefs, or for anyone who handles food for the public who would like an accredited qualification. A 3-hour Basic Food Hygiene course is also available and is accepted by inspecting bodies as evidence of food hygiene training. This course is ideal for most staff working in hospitality, education, nurseries and prisons amongst others. Please call us to discuss which course most suitable for you. How will the course be assessed? A multiple choice assessment paper from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. A certificate is awarded to everyone who achieves at least 20 marks out of 30. For anyone with reading or writing difficulties, the assessment can be taken orally. Many foreign languages can be catered for. How long will the certificate be valid for? 3 years. How much does the course cost? Prices are dependant on numbers.
